The main Starship
The Tyl is the command starship of the civilian fleet; it is central to the story and has been present on the planet Osberan for a very long time. It is a approximately one hundred meters long ship, carrying a crew of 25 and a small approach craft. Its forward-facing shield protects it from micro-asteroids. It is equipped with landing gear for landing on planets.
The Collapser. This spacecraft is the central vessel for exploration. Once outside the solar system, it uses its lasers to create a singularity similar to a tiny black hole. This compression allows the ship, as well as those around it, to “surf” on a curvature of space-time.
It also allows it to attract gas molecules, which it uses as fuel to keep itself running. It is nearly 2 km long, but only carries 500 people; the rest is filled with highly complex machinery.
The Seagull. This is a final approach craft, piloted by a crew of four and equipped with a rapid response jeep. It is approximately 14 meters long. It was thanks to this craft that Arin's team, the first explorers to land on Osberan, were able to get there.
The Wasp is a spacecraft designed as a cutting-edge heavy industry vessel. The tip of the craft is equipped with sensors and is capable of probing the ground to extract minerals.
It is a craft designed to assist in the colonization of new worlds. It is the most heavily armored craft in the fleet to withstand landing. It targets sources rich in metals and close to the ground, crashing into them; after that, its machinery begins extraction. It measures just over 200 meters long and can carry up to 500 people on final approach.
